LUXEMBOURG CITY is a lively and bustling capital with a lot of great touristic attractions to visit and a multitude of things to do. As a cultural platform, it abounds in venues for artistic expression, such as museums, theatres and concert halls. Nearly one third of the surface of the city is shaped by beautifully landscaped green spaces. Numerous parks and gardens, passing through the capital, constitute a pleasant green belt and provide a high quality of city life. 


ECHTERNACH is one of the most picturesque cities in the country which lies by river Ur. This is one of the oldest cities in Luxembourg (more than a thousand years old). It is worth to visit the abbey around the ancient basilica Villibrora (XVI-XVIII centuries.) , Church of St. Peter and Paul (XIII c., one of the oldest in Europe), the colorful Market Square, explore the ruins of the old city walls, as well as nearby canyon cleft palate - the most famous natural monument of the country. Echternach, especially well-known for the Dancing Procession (UNESCO World Heritage), is the gate to the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland.


CLERVAUX is located in a valley on the river Clerve surrounded by wooded slopes. It gives the impression of the medieval town with Gothic architecture. The town's arms, granted in 1896, show three blackbirds on a gold ground in the chief of a red shield, as a variation of the arms of the former Lords of Clervaux.


WILTZ - the largest city in the northern region of the country (Esslingen), consists of two parts - the lower town (320 meters) and Superior, situated 80 meters above the mountainside around an ancient fortress. Wiltz is very beautiful town, a neighborhood of its very picturesque, but some chaotic overgrown bushes, ravines and fences give it a touch of provincialism.


VIANDEN - stretching along the shore of the narrow valley of the river Ur and located at the foot of the ancient castle Dukes of Nassau, this city is one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities in Luxembourg. Vianden is famous because of Victor Hugo. The house of the writer was restored in 1948 and now it is a museum that holds some things and books once belonged to the great Frenchman. The Ardennes is a picturesque German-Luxembourg natural forest park.

de Beaufort

LE CHATEAU DE BEAUFORT is a Luxembourg village, belonging to the region of Echternach, the main local attractions are the ruins of the fortress and the palace in the Renaissance style built between the twelfth and sixteenth. Each year the castle is visited by over 70 thousand people. The village is also known for the annual festival Art in Beaufort. In addition, the village is the birthplace of the famous blackcurrant liqueur Cassis de Beaufort, local symbol and served in any restaurant in the area.

dos Vinhos

ESTRADA DOS VINHOS is a wine road that runs along the Moselle to Remich Grevenmacher river. Here you can take a walk on the boat on the river Moselle and watch its picturesque valley and visit the famous vineyards and wineries of Remich and Grevenmacher.


MONDORF-LES-BAINS is a resort town, known for its water sports center and hot springs. In the city you can find various clinics Spas, being an ideal destination for those wishing to relax, forget about work and enjoy nature.
