Weekend in Denmark
(3 nights/4 days)

Day 1.

Arriving at Copenhagen Airport. Transfer from the airport to the hotel of the selected category. Hotel accommodation. Sightseeing tour of Copenhagen. We invite you to take a walking tour of Copenhagen, during which you will see the historic citycentre with its main attractions. The walk will end with a visit to the most famous canal Nyhavn. (duration 2 hours)

Day 2.

In the footsteps of Anderson. Copenhagen - the capital of Denmark - is often called the city of Andersen, although the name itself translates as “trading harbour”, and Hans Christian Andersen was born on Fyn island, in the city of Odense. You will learn a lot of interesting, rare and unusual facts from the life of Anderson, and how an awkward and shy lad from the province turned into a great writer. (duration 2.5 hours)

Day 3.

In the castle of Hamlet. Kronborg Castle is known as the scene of the tragedy of William Shakespeare's "Hamlet". The history of the castle has a total of more than 600 years. But Kronborg is not only famous for Hamlet. The folk legend of King Holger Danske, located in the dungeon of an ancient castle, is close to the heart of every Dane. Kronborg became the first monumental residence of the Danish kings and the only Danish castle that was faced with ashlar. The entrance to the castle on its north side is marked by a gate with a portal flanked by columns and richly decorated with stone carvings. Initially, the gate was located separately from the castle, in front of the moat, later to it were added to the fortress casemates. Kronborg Castle is surrounded on three sides by ramparts and moats with corner bastions. The fourth side of the castle, facing the sea.

Day 1.

Arriving at Copenhagen Airport. Transfer from the airport to the hotel of the selected category. Hotel accommodation. Sightseeing tour of Copenhagen in the wake of fairy tales. Everything in Copenhagen disposes to immerse yourself in a fabulous atmosphere: colourful houses, the curvature of the streets of a medieval city, ancient lanterns, smiling locals, and swaying ships at the moorings. As if the spirit of the Middle Ages is in the air itself, it remains only to reach out and then you will be dragged into the vortex of fairy tales and adventures of this magnificent city. So, we will try to dive into the urban legends and tales of Andersen. (duration 3 hours)

Day 2.

Eviction from the hotel. Moving to the island of Funen. Moving to the island of Funen. We go to one of the most beautiful places in northern Europe - Egeskov Castle (Egeskov - oak forest), on the territory of which there are about 15 different parks, 8 meter tall hedges, alleys, museums with rare cars, bicycles, motorcycles and airplanes, a castle - a fortress built right on the water, natural labyrinths, cableways, playgrounds - all this will have to be tested during a visit to Egeskov Castle. Then the city - Odense (Odense), which was so named in honour of Odin - the supreme god of Scandinavian mythology. The great storyteller Hans Christian Andersen was born and raised in Odense. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3.

Eviction from the hotel. Moving to Ribe. The day will begin with a visit to the Viking open-air village, which is located near the town of Ribe. In the village of the Vikings, you can shoot a crossbow, bake bread according to an old recipe, go on falconry and various workshops. For children there is a game "medieval playground", "Viking museum", royal chambers with knight and princess outfits, bakeries and a copy of the Viking rook, which can be climbed. Further, the ancient city of Ribe (Ribe), where you can plunge into the era of the Middle Ages, and if you're lucky, you can even meet a night watchman with a spike mace that wanders through the streets of the city and keeps order. Overnight in Ribe.

Day 4.

Viking Museum and Givskud Park One of the first Danish kings, Harald Sinezuby in the city of Jelling, put up runic stones on which he indicated that it was he who baptized Denmark to Christianity. Today it houses one of the most visited Danish museums dedicated to the Viking theme. This is not just a museum, not just an object protected by UNESCO on the territory of the Danish kingdom - this is a living history, and if it is also presented beautifully by a guide, then going to this museum is already a journey back in time, in the Viking era, where we are and go.
