Art Nouveau in Brussels

We offer you a three hour walking tour around the city and its suburbs. You'll visit the store "Old England" and the house Horta Museum, Square Ambiorix with houses San - Cours and the home of Van de Velde built by Victor Horta for the minister of colonies Edmond van de Velde. Street Defazo will be represented by three mansions authored by Paul Ankara (1859 - 1901). Brussels and beer

Nobody can count the exact number and the diversity of Belgian beers.  And to find your favorite kind of beer is even easy for those who had never considered himself as a lover of this drink.
The most interesting thing in the Belgian beer - its unique varieties: Abbey and Trappist, white and unfiltered beer from the family lambics. You will visit the oldest brewery - Brussels brewery of Van Roy-Cantillon family . The only one functioning in the city nowadays. Founded in 1900 it retains the unique handicraft traditions of the Brussels beers natural fermentation - Lambic and its varieties Creek, Gueuze and Faro.
And of course you should visit the famous beer alley in Brussels. The oldest is L'image de Notre-Dame, located in an impasse des Cadeaux from 16th century.

Brussels and chocolate

This tour begins with an introduction to the New House company and the place where first pralines were invented.  Praline is a little cup filled with chocolate, named so because of the similarity with candied nuts of pastry pralines Marquis. During the tour you will learn not only about the "chocolate" and the history of the company but you will also try and compare the taste of produced chocolate. Ghent and Bruges

The fact that the entire historical center of Bruges is taken under the UNESCO protection says about the absolute uniqueness of this city. With no doubt, this is the most beautiful city in Belgium. Bruges is the city of lovebirds and romantics, of picturesque small canals which reflect the ancient houses and charming floating swans.

Brussels - City of Strip Cartoon

Brussels is motherland of strip cartoons and it has a lot of fans. You can see it everywhere in Brussels, even on the walls of houses in the city center. Such famous masters as Hergé, Morris and Andre Franchini de Bever lived and worked In the Belgian capital. They presented to world the popular series about Tintin, Marsupilami. Here you will get acquainted with the history of this unusual art form from the origin to the present day. You will not see anywhere else such a large number of comic strips including very rare editions of previous years. The museum has a collection of over 25,000 comic books and about 400 original drawings of Hergé.  Mr Hergé (1907-1983) is the author of comic strip about Tintin, reporter which loves mysteries, and faithful dog Snowy with a tendency to drink hot beverages.

Namur, Dinant and the Topiary Park

During the history of the glorious city of Dinant it was stormed two hundred times and 17 times it was under siege. Despite the fact that by the end of the First World War 75% of residential city buildings were destroyed and that it has also suffered during the Second World War, Dinant is a city with a history dating back to 824 year and is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone. There you can see Church of Our Lady in the Gothic style from the XIII - XIV centuries.  Museum of beer with famous brewed beer known as Abbey de Leffe. Prehistoric cave Mont Schaf. Also you will see Topiary Park - the largest park in the world with unique collection of decorative bushes, located on 10 000 sq meters.

Antwerp - city of Rubens
(with a visit to Rubens House Museum)

Antwerp with the cultural side is known as city of Rubens and has gained its reputation as a "gingerbread town" due to the fact that earlier it was the only place on weekdays where you could buy cookies and sweets. Antwerp is a mosaic of culture, architecture, fashion and shopping with a cosmopolitan character. The program includes inspection of Groot Market - Main Square surrounded by Flemish guild houses from 16th-century, Cathedral and the wall of the castle-fortress. Everybody knows the concept of Antwerp and diamonds - these are two concepts that are already more than 500 years is closely related to each other. "On our rooftops lay diamond dust" - joke inhabitants of Antwerp. Next stop is Diamond Museum.

Waterloo and Emperor Napoleon

The program of the tour includes visit to Waterloo. It is located 15 km from Brussels. English speaking guide will introduce you to Emperor Napoleon époque and explain about main characters of the great battle of Waterloo. The Battle of Waterloo took place not in the Waterloo but few kilometers to the south, between the villages of Mont-Saint-Jean and Plansenua. Battlefield hardly changed since June 18, 1815, and each year the reconstruction of this grand event is arranged. You will visit city museum and the museum of Napoleon with personal emperor belongings, his camp bed and the place where he spent the night before the great battle on 18 June. This tour includes movie about the battle and trip on a steam train to the main sites of the battlefield.

Luxembourg

During this tour we will visit the Upper Town with the remnants of a mighty fortress, ducal palace and the ancient buildings, Lower Town and new quarters with industrial and institutional offices. "Adolphe Bridge" - known Luxembourg arched bridge, is the national symbol of the Grand Duchy. The tour will continue inspecting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Notre Dame Cathedral, the famous majestic statues and burial place of the Grand Dukes. Next stop is the visit to the former Jesuit College, where National Library is located there today, town hall, church of St. Michael's, chapel of St.Quirinus, church of St. John on the Rock. Casemates du Bock is unique system of underground passages which was built in 1644 during Spanish domination time.
